LuxIceland ehf. ("LuxIceland", "we", "us") respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it and how we keep it safe. We comply with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Icelandic data protection law.

Data we collect

  • Booking data: name, email, phone, pickup location and tour selection.
  • Payment data: processed by our PCI-compliant payment partner; we never store full card numbers.
  • Account data: email and (hashed) password if you create an account.
  • Usage data: aggregated, non-identifying analytics about how the site is used.

How we use your data

  • To confirm and deliver your booking
  • To contact you about your tour, including weather changes
  • To improve the platform and prevent fraud
  • To send marketing emails, only if you opt in, and you can unsubscribe at any time

Sharing

We share booking details only with the operator running your tour and with payment processors strictly required to complete the transaction. We never sell your data.

Your rights

You can request a copy, correction or deletion of your data at any time by emailing lux@luxiceland.is. You may also lodge a complaint with the Icelandic Data Protection Authority (Persónuvernd).
