These terms govern your use of luxiceland.is and any bookings made through the platform. By using the site you agree to be bound by them.
1. The service
LuxIceland ehf. operates a marketplace that connects travellers with independent tour operators in Iceland. The actual tour is provided by the operator listed on the booking page. LuxIceland acts as the booking and payment agent.
2. Bookings & payment
Prices are shown in ISK and charged in ISK at the time of booking. A booking is confirmed only once you receive an email voucher. The operator's terms apply to the tour itself.
3. Cancellations
Cancellations are governed by our cancellation policy.
4. Liability
LuxIceland's liability for bookings is limited to the price paid for the affected tour. The operator is responsible for the conduct and safety of the tour itself, in accordance with Icelandic law.
5. Conduct
You agree to follow operator instructions, respect Icelandic nature and refrain from off-road driving, which is illegal under Icelandic law.
6. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Iceland. Disputes shall be settled by the District Court of Reykjavík.
